After the cabinet reshuffle Hugh is replaced as secretary of state for Social Affairs and Citizenship by Nicola Murray, who has a rough start with Malcolm.

Somebody in the department has accidentally wiped the immigration records of past few months. Nicola at apress meeting accidentally spills the beans to a freelance journalist.

Nicola goes to Eastbourne for the annual party conference. The highlight of her speech was suppose to be Julie Price, an activist, but Tucker has another plans for her.

Opposition minister Peter Mannion comes to visit the department, but Nicola is preoccupied by problems with her daughter.

In an interview Nicola makes it sound like current Prime Minister may be the "right man" for the job, which starts the rumours that she is thinking of running for 10 Downing Street.

While Tucker is officially on holiday, Nicola is about to take up tennis player Andy Murray as face for her new health campaign. But already the dark clouds are gathering over Tucker.

Tucker is forced to resign and Nicola is looking for a new job since the government might not last long.
