| Superintendent Cottam is harassed by the local newspaper journalist demanding the police investigation in case of beast of Hackney Marshes. To get him off his hair Cottam assigns Briggs and Louis to take a look at the case. |

| When Indian carving is stolen Briggs and Louis are helping the Comanche Chief to trace it. |
5 | Best Man |
| Briggs is best man at a colleague’s wedding and no one knows why. Almost no one. |
6 | Mine’s A Large One |
| During another job swap scheme Briggs and Louis end up on the boat at River Thames and actually they love it. Up to the point. |
7 | Go West, Old Man |
| Christmas Special episode. Superintendent Cottam has disappeared and Louis and Briggs are out to find him in the Canada wilderness. |
